Family and couples photography is about being relaxed, natural and having fun. It is also about capturing people that have a relationship with each other.
My photo shoots are not about capturing the perfect couple or family. They are about capturing you at your best when surrounded by the people you love.
During your photo shoot I will capture the personalities of each of you and all of the special moments as you interact with each other.
You can use the images to create stunning wall art, photo books, prints or just simply view them on your smartphone or tablet. Sharing family images with your loved ones is a great idea and they also make fabulous gifts for Christmas and Birthdays.
I will provide you with a range of imaginative photographs. My operating times are weekdays and weekends from 9:00am to sunset.

During a photo shoot and working together, I can capture who you are and all that you wish to remember about the people you love. So when your children have grown up and leave home you will have something special to hold on to. Your children will also have some lovely memories of you.

Your garden, a local park, a woodland or a beach are great places to capture your family. Visitors to the area love a family photo shoot especially on a beach. My favourite beach locations are Happisburgh in Norfolk and Southwold in Suffolk. However the area has so many lovely beaches with golden sand you are really spoilt for choice.
My family portrait shoots are fun and relaxed occasions to be enjoyed by all. I tend to keep any posing at a minimum and just capture the love and spontaneity between you.

With photo sessions spread out over regular intervals you will have a superb record of how your family changes over time. As the years pass by your treasured memories will become even more cherished.

How to get the best from your family photo shoot
The best time for a photo shoot depends on the time of year. In summer the hour before sunset “golden hour” provides some incredible light. In the middle of a summer day the light can be quite harsh. If so we will pick a location where there is some shade.
Family Combinations
To add variety to your photos it is best to have individual shots and combinations of people in different groups. The full group is obviously a must. Other excellent images that work well are:-
- Husband and wife
- Newborn
- Baby
- Children
- Father with each child
- Mother with each child
- Grandparents

Photo Shoot Clothing
A variety of clothing helps to improve your images. With groups it is best to travel as light as possible and to wear layers. So a T-shirt, pullover, jacket and coat is sufficient. I can then get the variety of images that you require without you having to find changing facilities.
However if you arrive at a photo shoot just as you are, I will still provide you with a beautiful set of images.

Norfolk and Norwich Family and Couples Photographer – Price
My prices including the post processing and delivery of your images are:-
- £120 for up to a 60 minute outdoor photo shoot within a 30 mile radius of Norwich and the supply of 35 processed digital images. The price of additional images is £5 each. You can also add additional time priced at £20 for each 15 minutes;
- Prints and photo books by Vanilla Photobooks are priced by quotation depending on your requirements.

Your images are delivered to you securely online to download in high resolution suitable for printing.
Your photos are also supplied to download in low resolution. These are suitable for computer, tablet, smartphone and social media use.

A small deposit is required to secure your photo shoot date and time. However if the weather is forecast to be poor, or you or someone involved in the photo shoot are feeling unwell, please reschedule or cancel your appointment.
If you email or telephone me to cancel your photo shoot at least 2 hours before the agreed photo shoot time I will provide you with a full refund.
