I am David Woodcock a Norfolk photographer based in Norwich, specialising in portraits, family and group photo shoots, engagement photo shoots, bridal photo shoots, head shots, model portfolios and landscapes. I also photograph high end properties and the occasional wedding or event.
With my services you get high quality images delivered promptly at affordable prices. I don't supply you products you don't need or charge extra if I supply you with more images than the agreed package. I operate within a 33 mile radius of Norwich.

My portrait photography service is available to individuals, couples, families and groups.
Portrait photography is capturing an image of a person or group of people, that brings out the personality of the subject by using a combination of lighting, backdrops and poses.
Your outfit, face, hair and eyes are the most important elements in your photos. So what you wear, tidy hair and the use of makeup will make a big difference to each image.
Would you like some photos capturing the personality of you or your loved ones? I will put you at ease during a fun, natural and relaxed photo session. Family photo shoots, group photo shoots, engagement photo shoots, bridal photo shoots, vintage portraits and any combination are available.
Whatever your needs let's work together to create some stunning images. They could be taken in your garden, in a park, along a river, on a sandy beach, at your holiday accommodation, at your wedding venue or at any location of your choice. Outdoor portraits work best to take advantage of natural light and varied backdrops.
If you have some clothes such as vintage, modern fashion, dance, prom, wedding or evening dresses you can use these on your photo shoot. Accessories such as musical instruments, parasols, jewellery and pretty petticoats all help to enhance your images.

Family photo shoots are a great way to capture some special memories. My service is often used by families either on holiday or celebrating a special occasion such a a ruby, silver or golden wedding.
Norfolk Bridal Photographer
Bridal portraits are an alternative way to get some quality images at an affordable price rather than pay the high prices of a traditional wedding photographer. You can use my service at any time (for up to 2 hours maximum) including immediately after your wedding and include guests. This is ideal for a small wedding party. You also get the benefit of my wedding photography experience as demonstrated by this Google review.

Portrait, Family and Group - Silver Photo Shoot Package - £160 - 60 minute photo shoot within 10 miles of Norwich or on Happisburgh beach - At least 30 digital images supplied in high & low resolutions with no extra charge for additional images - Up to 4 changes of clothes - Additional time £30 for each 15 minutes.
Portrait, Family and Group - Gold Photo Shoot Package £220 - 90 minute photo shoot within 33 miles of Norwich - At least 45 digital images supplied in high & low resolutions with no extra charge for additional images - Up to 4 changes of clothes - Additional time £30 for each 15 minutes up to a photo shoot time of 2 hours maximum.
For both packages the number of images is dependant on the time length of the photo shoot, how far we walk, the number of clothes changes and groups being prepared to get quickly into shot. Sometimes I supply over 100 images on a 90 minute photo shoot.

Norwich Head Shot Photographer
A head shot is typically from the shoulders upwards, focusing on a person’s face. Head shots for business are very important. You definitely need a corporate head shot because people buy from people they like and trust.
So if you look approachable your chances of getting customers are greatly increased.
I regularly provide head shots to small business owners, actors and models for websites, social media and portfolios. This is because most clients only want a few images for a modest price and my packages meet these needs.

Norfolk Model Portfolio Photographer
To be successful and get noticed you need an excellent portfolio of between 12 and 20 images. They need to range from full length to extreme close up. It is best not to replicate any item of clothing in any of the photos and to have a variety of backdrops.
Wear a range of clothing of different styles in your portfolio to show your versatility. Plain pastel colours of pink, blue, yellow, green, grey and white work best.
You don’t need to buy lots of clothes. I can change the colour of your clothing in processing to meet your requirements. Your poses and how you wear your clothes will make a big difference to your portfolio. Props also make a big difference to your images.

To ensure that you look at your best the taking and processing of each image with this package takes longer and is of a much higher quality than my standard processing.

Norfolk Photographer - Advice & Contact Me
As a people photographer my best advice if you want images with variety is to have several changes of clothes during your photo shoot. Plain clothes like in this image of Natalie work best. Layering is an easy way of achieving this when in a public space. It also helps if you use props and jewellery.
I operate anywhere within a 33 mile radius of Norwich mainly undertaking outdoor photo shoots. This include most of Norfolk and North Suffolk.
